Instructor / Class Evaluation
As most schools perform end of class instructor/class evaluations WCC had been doing them that way until 2012 where they made a decision that they wanted to be more "green" and efficient with the process. We moved from a long labor intensive paper process to the web. The web system automatically pulls class registrations from Banner and sends an email for every class that is ending during a part of term to each student and instructor. We also used this digitization to continue to report anonymously the results to Faculty and Staff but to retain enough data for us to perform automatic demographic based reports. We can now report on GPA, Grade received in class, gender, ethnicity, race, etc. This becomes useful when tracking down and prevent problems.
